Legend has it that long ago, the
Chinese Goddess of Mercy took pity upon a poor, kind
farmer and appeared before him. She offered him a
single tea sprout and promised him that his village
would prosper should he care for the plant and share
it with others. The humble farmer took great care of
this plant and passed it along to his friends,
family and neighbors. Many years later, this tea is
still with us. The tightly curled leaves brew to a fragrant,
nutty tea with peach undertones. This is a great tea
for all day.
This lovely oolong comes from the
Song Bo region in Nantou, Taiwan. Savor the unique
fragrance and strong honey and pineapple notes in
this tea that is produced all year round.
